Spend an evening wandering our flower fields and create a bouquet that showcases your creativity and love of flowers. Unlike the flower bouquets you get at a grocery store, a pick-your-own flower farm allows you to select each bloom. Choose from a wide variety of organically grown flowers you can’t find at the supermarket.
If you love flowers and are looking for things to do in mid-coast Maine, a u-pick flower experience is perfect for you! Visit us in Brooks, Maine, and enjoy a relaxing outing playing with flowers.
The U-pick is closed, but will open in July 2024.
Follow us on Instagram for updates. See you soon!
U-pick is simple. Select a container size, grab a pair of garden snips, and head to the field. We recommend wandering the rows to see what’s available and what speaks to you. There’s no need to rush! Take as much time to pick as you like. Throughout the farm, we have chairs and benches for you to rest.
After you’ve filled your container, you can take the flowers home, or spend some time arranging them at one of our work benches. We’re happy to help you arrange your bouquet and answer any questions. You’ll be sent home with instructions and flower food to keep your arrangement fresh as long as possible.
You’ll find us in Brooks, Maine, the heart of Waldo County. We’re approximately 1/2 mile from the town center at the intersection of routes 7 and 139.
We’re less than 20 minutes from Belfast, and we’re about 40 minutes away from Bangor. So, make Frogmore Flower Farm a stop on your trip to the coast!
No. You’re welcome to visit during our open hours: Thursday from 6:00 until dark and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until dark. If you can’t make it during those hours, please contact us to arrange a private U-pick session.
Yes. Families are welcome to visit, and we offer mini-cups for children under 10. However, it’s your responsibility to ensure your children are respectful and under adult supervision the entire time they’re on our property. Damage to flowers and property won’t be tolerated.
You don’t need to bring anything to cut the flowers! We provide snips and cups that you can cut into. However, to minimize water spills in your car, you may want to bring something to stabilize your cup.
Depending on the time of day, you will want to bring sun protection and bug repellent. To quench your thirst, we have cold water available.
No. While we love furry friends, they may damage the flowers and pose a liability to other guests.
Yes! We have several seating areas that you can use for small picnics with at most four people. However, any picnic must be accompanied by a u-pick purchase from all members. After picking your flowers, feel free to linger, arrange them, and enjoy a snack.
