Opening Day Celebration
Join us on Saturday, July 27, from 4:30 to 7:30 PM for the opening day at Frogmore Flower Farm in Brooks, Maine! We’re thrilled to invite you to explore our farm and see the exciting updates we have made this year, including our new walking display gardens and arbors.
Each year, we introduce different plants, transforming the farm with fresh color themes. Take a leisurely stroll through the field and display gardens, pick the flowers that inspire you, and create a beautiful bouquet that reflects your unique style.

Plein Air Watercolor Painting Workshop with Lisa Oettinger
Discover the joy of painting in the great outdoors with our Plein Air Watercolor Workshop at Frogmore Flower Farm. Plein air painting, or painting “in the open air,” allows artists to immerse themselves in their surroundings, capturing the essence of nature directly onto the canvas. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to blend art and nature as participants explore the farm’s vibrant landscapes and diverse blooms.

Cyanotype Printing with Teach Peace Prints
Learn the process of cyanotype printing on fabric and paper, create handmade items in a beautiful setting, enjoy light refreshments, and wander around the farm to pick your own seasonal flower bouquet!
You’ll be able to explore vibrant flower fields and display beds, where you can pick a variety of flowers to create your own cyanotype prints. After the workshop, enjoy picking a bouquet of fresh flowers to take home with you. Experience the beauty of the farm while crafting your unique floral art. Light refreshments will be offered and included in this multifaceted event!
This workshop is intended for adults, however, children 10+ are welcome to join. All children must be accompanied by an adult. All levels of experience are welcome!

Pumpkins & Posies: A Floral Arranging Workshop
Celebrate the beauty of fall by creating your own floral pumpkin arrangement. Join us on Sunday, September 29 at 3:00 p.m. for a hands-on workshop where you’ll blend the vibrant colors of locally-grown flowers with the rich hues of the season’s pumpkins.
Your $45 ticket includes one farm-fresh pumpkin, locally grown flowers, and expert instruction on crafting a seasonal arrangement. You’ll have the choice of an orange or white pumpkin, and we’ll provide a variety of fresh flowers, such as dahlias, zinnias, and amaranth, as well as fillers and foliage.
This outdoor class promises a fun and creative experience. All materials are included in the workshop.
